Growth Facility
The Growth Facility (GF) is an open BC service unit providing its users with a wide scale of state-of-the-art devices and infrastructure for cultivating plants, algae, and mosses; and environmental simulation for conducting experiments with predefined temperature or light conditions.
The use of GF for external users is based on a contract with a defined pricing list, which both sides agreed upon.
According to the level of GF efforts, all users are asked to acknowledge the facility if any gained data has been published. Please, use one of the following phrases:
"This work/Part of the work was carried out with the support of a Growth Facility (BC Core Facilities; IPMB BC CAS).”
"We would like to gratefully acknowledge the Growth Facility of the Institute of Plant Molecular Biology at the Biology Centre of the Czech Academy of Sciences for obtaining the scientific data presented in this study."
Assistance above the technical or routine level, with any GF staff providing substantial scientific input and expertise in the experimental set-up, acquisition, analysis, or interpretation should be recognized through co-authorship on resulting publications or co-authorship on objects of industrial property with a corresponding property share.
Specific grants that have funded the GF used for the work to be published are to be acknowledged if the data was acquired during the active period of the grant. The CF Head will advise users of such grant codes.
