Collections
The collections of the Plant Virology lab consist of isolates/purified isolates of bacteriophages and plant viruses, as well as lab-made antisera or IgG antibodies. They are available also for co-operating laboratories (contact: virology@umbr.cas.cz)
Bacteriophages:
Samples and purified isolates of bacteriophages specific to bacteria Bacillus licheniformis, B. cereus, Dickeya sp., Pectobacterium sp., Kosakonia cowanii, Lysinibacillus sp., Pantoea agglomerans, P. ananatis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus pseudintermedius, S. schleiferi, S. vitulinus, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Xanthomonas euvesicatoria, and others. Some of them are completely sequenced.
Viruses:
Isolates of viruses infecting fruits, cruciferous plants, clovers and wild plants (for example strawberry mottle virus, strawberry crinkle virus, strawberry mild yellow edge virus, strawberry polerovirus 1, strawberry virus 1, black raspberry necrosis virus, raspberry leaf blotch virus, arabis mosaic virus, strawberry latent virus, alfalfa mosaic virus, Trifolium pratense virus A, white clover mosaic virus, red clover mottle virus, cherry leaf roll virus, Prunus necrotic ringspot virus, Gaillardia latent virus, etc).
We posses also our own antisera or IgG antibodies suitable for ELISA detection of these viruses.
